Default Parker Hammer Gun - Beligum

[B]I just inherited this 12 ga Parker w/ laminated steel Beligum stamped on barrel & reciever. If i were to sell, what is a fair price. What is the grade? Any other history info? Serial numbers on reciever & forearm match. # 7347.
I did some research on my own, but I'm not a collector. As far as i know - its'
made in 1876 w/ only 2,682 produced. The barrel lugs are cross hatched in a diamond pattern w/ no frame size stamped. The top sight area between the barrels is concave & stamped Laminated Steel Beligum. Bottom of barrels are stamped w/ a star V & ELG. Water table is stamped GF / 8. Also a star / V . 690 & also Beligum. & 12.
3" from the front muzzel is stamped 19 & 7" from the muzzel is stamped 90.
The barrels measure 26 3/8" Don't know where markings are for choke sizes.
I hope this info helps. Also sending pic's. I'm hoping w/ the low serial number it may be rare & worth a lot. Dad passed over 2 years ago, it's taken me this long just to look at his collection. Thank You, Rich

Richard,Sorry to say that this gun is not a Parker Bros. shotgun made in Meriden,CT. This gun was made overseas and used the Parker name to capitalize on their great reputation. As far as value is concerned maybe some others here will give you a ballpark figure but its value is based on condition.

Hard to tell on the condition overall, but it appears to be in good overall shape based on the photos. Value is between $100-200 with 200 being the absolute tops. They are basically a wall hanger/decorators piece.
Most of them are not in the best of shape today and they are usually all loose as a goose. I ahve sold a few of these type of belgian hammer guns in the past few years and have never had a problem getting $150-200 on GB for them.
