At the time in 2011 I filled out the Membership application and sent in the $40, I thought of it mainly as a token gesture of compensation for the gratuitous advice I had been given freely by a couple of PGCA stalwarts. And maybe it was to be just a one-time thing, on my part. Totally unanticipated by me was the manifold enjoyment, knowledge and fellowship I would continually to derive from membership in the organization.
