Welcome to the forum, as you can see there are lots of great guys ready to offer there expertise. Always room for one more to come over to the good side, especially a Winchester pre-64 collector, good credentials there. Congrats on your 20 ga., a great start but like some many good things, you can have just one!

Send pics and they can give you some ideas. You will enjoy Parkers and everyone wants another 20 gauge. Excuse the auto-correct on my message, what I meant to say was you can't own just one!

Toby, be careful when reassembling your gun as the serialization book shows it as originally being a VHE 20 Ga. with ejectors and 26" barrels.

The ejectors would need to be cocked before the forend is replaced to prevent forcing them on the frame and possibly damaging the gun. They cock separately from the hammers and are one of the more fragile parts of a small bore Parker.

Toby, if you go to the PGCA Home page and click on the FAQs section, then select Topic #7: I can"t get my forend back on in the Parker Main. and Repair list, there are pictures and a description how to do this. HTH FV.

Toby, I can see the pictures in the album, but do not see any pictures of the forend and in particular the ejector hammers/sears etc..
