If you cocked the gun when you opened it originally that part must be OK. Put the barrels back on the gun with for-end and then open and close it to re-cock.

If you fired it ( dropped the hammers ) with the barrels off, simply put the gun back together and open it.

Also odd there are no gauge or choke markings on the barrels

Thank you..the gun has 28" barrels I've collected mostly pre64 Winchester all my life have had few double guns what would be the worth of this shotgun id call it fair condition also the extractor is split like it may have ejectors the frame is stamped vh 198322 is serial number any help gladly appreciated
