Default Parker lifter Stock Removal

I attempted to remove the lower tang screw, but will not move. Are there pins holding it in place? I see a pin on each side of the action, inside after removing the locks that line up with the screw. Help! Jim.

No pins or lock screws. Just decades of hardened oil and crud.

On those stubborn screws Austin would use a screw driver bit in a drill press and hand turn it while holding downward pressure on the arbor/chuck.
