SN 10,187. 1877. 12 ga plain twist Grade 1 . Original metal , wood finish refreshed and in case attributed to Parker .

Both guns lock tight. Our member Edgar Spencer was able to identify the Meriden company that cast the brass case corners.

I believe John Davis has one just about like that last one with the sculpted knob with the scallop shell.

Very nice indeed.

Default sculpted knob with the scallop shell

To come across something that was so special at the time that the owner requested that kind of individualized and beautiful wood work done to his gun, for me, is what Parker collecting is all about. WOW! Thanks for those pictures Bruce.
