Default A case for the Parker

I am looking for recommendations or cautionary tales as I search for a case for my Parker 12ga vh. 28" barrels.
Do any of you have any recommendations?
I have seen a few leg of mutton cases on line but I am unsure if this would have had a case from the factory or would that have been a choice for the owner? Would a hard travel case like a tourbon or a motor case be better.
This will be for vehicle transport to and from the rod and gun club and the hunting locations.
Any advise or feedback is appreciated.
Thanks

Jeff’s Outfitters is great. I ordered a case for my VH 20 and actually spoke to Jeff himself.

Boyt cases are good too.

I also have some vintage LOM cases which are good too

Do you want a case that would have been ordered with the gun or a more modern case?

Hello Bill,
I prefer an older case as long it is in good shape. If I could figure out what would have been the right time period case for the gun (1916) then I would be happy with a reproduction.
I just do not want a plastic case with no character.

Keep looking. There are plenty of very nice LOM cases out there for reasonable prices.

Back at the time it was new, most owners of a Quality VH would use a case like this --

When one got up to the likes of a Quality DHE a nice leg-of-mutton case might be in order.

A nice trunk case might be in order for a Quality BHE on up.

This looks like a decent case.
