Default Serial Number Check

137476 BH

Have reason to believe it belonged to a 4 star General in the family.

You’ll have to order a PGCA Research Letter to get provenance on a Parker.

Mathew,

137476, according to the "Book", is a 16 gauge VH with capped pistol grip and 28" barrels. If you join the PGCA you can request a letter on your relatives Parker. It will tell who ordered the gun as well as chokes etc.

Matthew what is the “BH” you show following the serial number? If you can post some pictures you will learn a lot more about the gun.

Thanks for all of the help so far.

I'm hoping to get pictures today.

Where would the VH be located on the gun?

I'm sending away for the letter later this week.

The barrels ribs will be marked VULCAN STEEL and the water table will have a V above the serial number.

Here are some pictures. I did not take them. The Parker is with my father in law.
