Default bending a plastic butt plate

I got an oversized plastic reproduction butt plate for the LCSmith I'm fixing up. The curvature doesn't match. Approximately how long does it take in boiling water to soften them enough to bend?

Just completed installing a spur butt plate on a Parker and I used the wife's hair dryer to get curve right and it worked great. Just heat maybe 30-40 seconds both sides and it remains workable for a minute or so.
