Default NSSA Vintage Skeet Championship

Now I thought I stayed pretty up on stuff . But I just read about the “World Vintage Skeet Championsips” with the 19th year being last year . After this covid19 bologna runs its course (if I’m still upright) I’m gonna have to look into this a bit more . It’s no great secret I like skeet far more than sporting clays .

I see our own Paul Kupferberg took the 28 ga. Trophy in 2012 for vintage hammer 28 gauge.

If there’s a silver lining to all of this, it’s that it has brought other events to the fore. This looks like a lot of fun. I will attend the next one.

It appears the 2020 Vintage Skeet Championship is scheduled for August 6-9.

The date is very helpful to know. The location, even more so.

I’d been wanting to send a VH 12 gauge 2 frame to Kolar and have it tubed , but had always come up with reasons not to . Now I just might have a good reason to have it done .

On a side note , when I went to Christmas Hill in January or February for the Pheasent shoot one of the fellows there had one of those CZ 12 gauge 30” hammer guns . No I didn’t fire it , but for a utilitarian usable don’t care if I beat it up gun I’d say it was a hit !
