Yes, sir, the "12" prefix indicates a 12 gauge gun. Number 12-652 would also be a 12. Number 20-652 would be a 20 and made at least a period of years before the 12 gauge Repro was introduced.

The point I was making is that the guns being non consecutive is not because of the 652 gun being a 20. The 12-652 gun is a 12 and it was not used for some other reason, like it may have had different barrel length than the 12-651 gun.

I remembered this old post....Take a look...100399684# Now listed on guns intl. is a driven set/matched pair. Few were made! that have the correct two gun case. Sweet!! SXS ohio

MY GUNS ARE VERY MUCH LIKE THESE IN THE LINK WITH THE EXCEPTION THAT MY GUNS HAVE SEPERATE GUN CASES AND THERE IS A SKIP IN THE SERIAL NUMBERS. THANKS FOR THE INFO JACK B
