Hello everybody, Just received my first Parker. I am the lucky guy that won the 2014 raffle gun. A beautiful 12 gauge hammer gun. I've admired Parker shotguns for a very long time, I named my first hunting dog, a Gordon Setter after them. I never thought I would own one. Just wanted to say thank you to the PGCA for offering such a great gun for raffle. I feel very fortunate to have it. I'm sure I'll have lots of questions in the future, right now I can't stop looking at it. Also to the person that drew my name, I need to buy you a beer......or ten! thanks again Rick

Rick,
Thank you for posting and saying hello. For your first Parker, you can't ask for a better one or a better story to go along with it.

Oh, the person that drew the ticket was Louis Parker III's wife.

Rick, congratulations on winning that wonderful Grade 3 Parker hammergun. I held that gun and swung it countless times on imaginary birds and it has very shootable dimensions. We know you're going to love shooting it. If you need to find the correct ammo for your new vintage Parker just ask here.
Thanks very much for your support of the PGCA in both buying a raffle ticket and also for joining this great organization!!

Rick: Congratulations on your first Parker. You know, however, that "Parkeritis" is highly contagious. You will want a mate to your new hammergun in the very near future. Please keep us up to date on your journeys afield with ParkerDog and your new Parker.

Best Regards, George

BTW: I also have a ParkerDog. He is a Brown Lab.
