Hy-gun Jostam recoil pad sizes

I've seen some of these with 9 slots and some with 7 slots. Were there different sizes dependent on the gauges? PS. Trying to determine what would be appropriate on a VH that had the buttplate lopped off. Thanks

I don't have the Hy-Gun page from the old Jostam catalogues scanned into my computer, and I'm at the Las Vegas show, but the Jostam Anti-Flinch came in four sizes --
