Default Duck Club Gun Display

Every year we have a club clambake and invite members to display guns from their collection. We also invite local folks that have ties to the double gun hobby. This year we were fortunate to have gunsmith's Brian Dudley, Dan May and Sam Chappell. The display of guns was a little thin this year but you get the picture. Also attending were local collectors Bill Jolliff and Ken Waite III.

What a great tradition!

In today's world it is hard to keep traditions alive but it's worth the effort. Every year fewer seem to care about keeping traditions alive, sad in a way.

The glass ball trap is a rarity. I think I still have mine. Somewhere.

There were two of those in a glass case at the Shennendale Club in Augusta County VA thirty years ago . I assumed they were Charlie Hunter’s . Whether he gave them to the club and they’re still there I do not know as I’ve not been there In Thirty years .

I'll bet not many kids ran around the trap field barefoot.

Great tradition! Wish we had enough people who appreciate fine guns around here to do something similar

You know how to have fun! Glad to see Jolly Bill was there along with a couple of great gunsmiths. Thanks for sharing.
