Default Lapeer - Augest 11th Shoot

Our summer shoot has everything the spring shoot had without the steak dinner and awards. Skeet, trap, wobble trap, 5-stand , pigeon ring, and Sporting Clays. This is more of a fun event for those who like getting out the double and having some fun. We can shoot from 9AM to 9PM so bring plenty of shells. The women will be fixing a light lunch for those who get hungry. Hope to see everyone again. Paul

Sir Richard gave me a number of empty cloth shot bags [ the OLD style ] that could be made into bags for shells. So, my wife is going to sew a couple - one for Rich and one for me. Rich, she's gonna put some belt loops on the back - that sound ok ? Yours will be big enough for 100 shells. Paul

The idea entered my mind at a shoot in Freeland (thats in MI Dave) earlier this year. The gentalman had it on his gun caddy to hold empty shells.

Paul I was just looking for a bag big enough and strong enough to hold empties after a shoot. No need for belt loops as I can use my vest. I would like it to be able to hold more than 100 empties if possible. just a big bag with a draw string will work or whatever she comes up with is fine and will be an improvement.

I think I talked the wife into useing velcro - think it will work better than a draw string.
