Default 16 ga Smith vs Parker grudge match

Gentleman,

Below are the rules for our 16 gauge shoot: "The Sweet 16 LC Smith vs Parker team grudge match".

Thursday April 21st .At Deep River Sporting Clays, on the five stand set by Rick Hemingway. (the one on the right when facing the dove field) From 1 pm until five on Thursday only.
30 targets as in years past/ two report pairs final pair is a true/ simultaneous pair. 16 gauge Parker or Smith only. Hammer or hammerless guns allowed.
Can shoot event as many times as your pocket/ time/ or money allow. Your top score is the one that counts.

Top three scoring shooters from Parker and top three from Smith will comprise a "team". The scores will be totaled for each and the top scoring team will be determined the winner. In the event of a tie, one shooter from each team (chosen by their team mates) will shoot off for team bragging rights. ( a full 30 target round if time allows if not Rick Hemingway will decide the number of targets/ fees again paid to Rick).
Top three shooters from each team will receive two boxes of RST 16 gauge shells each. The winning team will get a special award (hope yall enjoy a cold one or two).

PLEASE NOTE THIS IN NO WAY IS A PGCA OR LCSCA SANCTIONED EVENT/ SPONSORED EVENT OR HAS ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE OFFICAL CHALLENGE EVENTS.

Score cards will be with the trapper, at that five stand, who helps Rick Hemingway. Please let them know what you are shooting/ what maker of gun/ your name/ etc.
No registration fee. But target fees to be paid to Rick/ trapper per their normal fees. In the past it was usually $15 per round of 30 five stand targets.

This is for fun and camaraderie. All complaints will be filed in the official circular filling device. aka: the trash can.
Please come out and join us and shoot your 16 gauge. Hope to see yall there. Please pass the word

LC Smith vs Parker Bros 16 gauge grudge match

Where: Deep River Sporting Clays at the Dove Field on one of the two Five Stands
When: Thursday April 21st 2016 from 1 pm to 5:30 pm

Open to LC Smith and Parker 16 gauge hammer and hammerless guns only.
Being this is a 16 gauge event: maximum load allowed is 1 oz. Maximum shot size is #7 ½.
No changing of chokes once you start shooting the event.

You may enter the event as many times as you like. You highest score will be the one that counts.
The top three scores from each team will be totaled and the team with the highest score will determine the winning team. In the event of a tie: the winning team will be determined by a shoot off.
The winning team will receive a special award. The top three shooters from each team will receive two boxes of RST 16 gauge shells.

This is not a sanctioned event or sponsored by either the LCSCA or PGCA thus there is no entry fee for this event. Just pay Rick or his trapper running the five stand their usual fee for shooting the five stand. (in years past it has been $15 per round of 30 targets). A sign will be placed in front of the five stand that is being used for this event.

The event will consist of 30 targets. Shot as two report pairs and one true pair. (this is subject to change if Rick has to make adjustments for the five stand but will be determined prior to any shooting taking place)

Score sheets will be with the trapper at the five stand. When you sign up and pay for each round please give the trapper your name and which team you are shooting for. Smith and Parker shooters may be mixed in together on rounds so you don’t have to have five team members at a time to shoot.
Usual safety rules apply as in any other event and per Deep River’s rules.
I do ask if we can have one Parker volunteer and one Smith volunteer to help with counting scores so there is no confusion or tomfoolery.
Remember we are shooting this for fun and bragging rights amongst friends. Please come out and join us for some 16 gauge action.

If I have room after I pack everything else, I will bring my 16 gauge Parker for this match. It should be fun.

It was a pleasure to watch. Team Parker had some fine shooters and Dave Fjeleene had the greatest shot of the day.
I still don't know who won.
