Thanks fellows. Another of the greatest generation gone. On the beach on Saipan, Okinawa, Korea, Vietnam. Active in BSA , a hunter, fisherman, a life fully and well lived. Your condolences are very appreciated.

My sympathies go out to you and your family. Thanks to you and your Dad for your service. My Dad is also 92 and served in the Pacific and is doing quite well. I'm lucky. The "Greatest Generation" is rapidly disappearing. We'll never see another generation like them. God bless. |

I'm sorry to hear of your fathers passing, it sounds as if he was quite a man. As a vetran myself we are all better people for his service to our great country. May he rest in peace. |
