Hey Bobby, glad to hear you've joined the PGCA. That must have been a thrill to hunt quail with a Parker 28. I'll bet you've got some good stories about those hunts.

I sure do Mike and once I shot 18 straight on two hunts,it was a VHE skeet gun with lots of case colors and was the first Parker I owned.Bobby

Bobby
Welcome. I have spent a decent amount of days hunting "mr bob" with a VH 28ga down in south Ga around the Al-benny" area. I still love shooting that gun at quail but now in SC at Backwoods Quail Club with pen raised birds.

David those were the days back in the 60s,70s in my area just below Athens we had plenty of birds but no more! I have not heard a single bob whistling this spring! My all time favorite bird gun is a 20 gauge straight grip Remington GHE with sst and beavertail looks exactly like a skeet gun but not marked skeet in and out. Hello Bobby and Welcome to the PGCA!

Yes, you can order back issues. Contact James Hall by PM for back issues - Jimmy maintains a pretty ample supply of Parker Pages all the way back to Volume 1, Issue 1.

Enjoy!
