@ Brian, 10-4 (urethane)

The closest I've come, and what I've used for years, is Spar. Never have laid it on thick though (maybe that's the difference to my eye) good stuff nonetheless.

I've laid it over top (very thin coat or two - rubbed) an oil finish..that makes for a pretty nice finish with a little extra durability and water resistance. The Spar also adds a bit of an amber tone as well, nice on some pcs.
