Default VETERANS DAY

With Veterans day upcoming this Saturday I would like one last time to post here about my daughter, Lisha, who passed from this life on October 25th. and recognize the many of you who posted encouragement and sympathy. Lisha was put in charge of Veterans Day every year at her school and organized recognition of all the veterans who were parents & grandparents of the children there.

Lisha was a teacher and a poet and my favourite of her poems is entitled "HALLOWED GROUNDS" which appears on the Arlington National Cemetery website. If you would like to read it just google" "Hallowed Grounds Lisha Lander Hylton" Our family visit in 2005 to The Wall and Arlington inspired her to write it.

George, the poem is as much a reflection of you as it is a reflection of your daughter. Your friend, Murphy.

George, what a wonderful lasting tribute to a daughter's love for her country and her dad. We are blessed by you sharing it.

This is a difficult one for me to respond to, as words seem inadequate.
Let me just say BEAUTIFUL!

Thank you Jim, Mike, Murphy, Dave, Bill, Charlie, Harry & Todd. Your kind messages are helping me through a most difficult time. Lisha was a special girl with loads of love and talent. Her memory will live forever in my heart and in the words that she put to pen.

Best Regards, George
