Default Forfend problems

While shooting skeet with my 28 gauge repro today my forearm fell off after 3 shots. I noticed after each shot the forfend latch would move out like it is being released a little. This happened with my 26" barrels only not my 28" barrels same forfend. Any ideas? Any help would be appreciated.

It seems the forend lug on the 26" barrels needs some fine fitting.

I don't know how close he is to you but Dave Fjelline is a guy I would trust with any Parker I own. He's in Lincoln, CA.

Heck, I just looked at a map... he's right down rte. 80 from you.

I believe that Bill Schwartz is still working. He is in Elijay GA. He was one of the owners of the Lefever Arms Gunsmith firm in NY. One heck of a shop. This is his number 706 276-7668
