Default Who made the Repro Cases?

Who made the Parker Repro gun cases? Were they made in Italy by chance? My recently acquired 20 ga DHE Repro arrived today and I noticed a small tag on the outside bottom that reads: 'Made in Italy'. The interior felt is green but there was no Parker Repro Label inside not does the felt look like it had one attached. I'm wondering if this is a Galazan leather case. Any ideas?

Allen, I believe they were made in Italy by a firm named Emmebi. I may have mispelled the name.

Believe ERMI made them in Italy. ERMI also made the cases for Merkel for some time. Perhaps your Repro was placed in a non-Parker repro case?

Original Parker Reproduction cases were indeed made in Italy by the firm Emmebi.

Jeff's Outfitters sold and may still be selling cases what he termed "identical" to the Parker Repro cases sans the trade label. Original Parker Reproduction oval-shaped leather trade labels are hard to find. Galazan sells a lot of great products, but their rectangular-shaped Parker Repro cardboard trade label IMHO isn't one of them. Good luck finding an original label!

yes it is Emmebi...I contacted them last year about a key fob which some repros came with and others did not...they promptly sent me one for free and said they "had a few" kicking around.

Thanks guys. I'm suspecting that the previous owner (now deceased and the niece and her husband know very little about the history of this repro and case) purchased the case separately from the gun. It has all the look and feel of a repro case with parker snap caps etc. but I don't think it was original to the gun. Anyway, I'm sending it out to Marvin Huey next week for some minor work. May be they can come up with a suitable trade label to install. I'll talk with Mr. Huey about this. Thanks again.
