What was the horn length? Can you post pictures of it?Have you tried sporting goods stores or even restaurants. We have a steak house here with some really bad taxidermy in it.

Thats a nice mount. They are a fun animal to hunt and very tasty as well. Heres an idea, if you don't find a home for it donate it to the PGCA for the silent auction

They do take up a bit of space much like an elk.

Well, if Russell's club does not take it, the PGCA can have it. But someone has to pick it up at my house.
The cost to ship it would be very high. If someone from up here was driving down to the meeting would take it, that would help.

The Kudu problem has been solved. The Hyannis chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF) has agreed to take it for their upcoming banquet and I get a much needed tax deduction for 2019 tax yr. No other potential takers that I had contacted came forward. My caribou mount problem has been solved as well.

It's to bad your having to give away your trophies. I'd be very hard pressed to do it myself

I have no room in the house for them and neither do my 2 daughters. I dont need the trophies to remind me of my safari hunt. Have plenty of pictures.

At one time my then boss told me I should work now and go to places like Africa and Alaska when I retired. My reply was when I retired I wanted to sit in a recliner with a whiskey and look at them and I do just that. If my wife would only let me enjoy a cigar while reminiscing it would be perfect.

Rich, I'm building a small two car garage about 80 feet from the house in case my future includes bourbon and cigars. I already have the bourbon part taken care of. In my twentieth year of retirement, the "garage-shooting range" is only my latest wild and crazy scheme.
