I am not a patient person so my form of self discipline is putting a self imposed restriction on the total number of guns I own. It fores me to sell one to buy one. I try to buy original condition because it is much easier to sell. I would like to have kept them all but I like the new arrivals better than the guns sold. I tend to gravitate toward the mid-grade guns, Parker Grade 3's and 4's are my sweet spot. The bottom line is buy what you like!!!

I didn't consider the double edged sword aspect of patience. Thank you for rounding out the concept.

Of all the Parkers I have bought all were wonderful at the time, As time goes by you find one a little better in color engraving etc, so you sell one you bought several years ago, to justify the new purchase, but remember the one you sold is cherished by the new owner just as you did when you first bought the gun. It's a never ending cycle as long as one lives, but it is great Gary

Speaking of patience, I'm still waiting on the Parker Story I bought on Amazon. Ordered on May 3rd, both Amazon and I haven't been notified of the shipment. Hopefully the seller just forgot to add the details and doesn't come up lame. I'd hate to lose two weeks of reading for naught.

And don't forget the State of California imposed patience...DROS.
Dealer Record of Sale, the mandatory dreaded 10 day wait on any gun.
Pick up day today for my new Parker. The agony and the ecstasy.

The Parker Story is on the way. I just got off the phone, and due to the seller attending the Southern my shipment was delayed. Can't fault a guy for attending one of our shindigs.

Once you get it, it will be a year before you can put it down. And then, only briefly

I have few virtues, patience isn't one of them. Every time a gun is bought and sold something is learned and learning is good therefore the buying and selling of guns is a good thing. The buying is easy the selling not so much.
