I have not used either of the powders you listed but I have used WSF in 20's for years. I have had no difficulties of any sort through about 60,000 rounds.

When I shot skeet and trap competitively I only used Wincgester ball powders . 452AA for the 12 , 473AA for the 20 , 540 for the 28 and 296 for the 410 . Later Winchester did away with 452 and 473 . They replaced 452 with WSL and WST , and I shot a pile of WSL when it came out . WSF replaced 473 and I shot a veritable pile of that also . Back then I loaded in PW800's and the ball powders caused me no problems . Now how they do in a MEC I don't know .
