Default Polywad shell question

Has anyone had any experience with 12ga Polywad Vintagers on wild pheasants? At 7/8oz seems like they would be a bit light.

Not that specific shell. I have used their Spred-R English 12 Ga. shells which are also 2 1/2" with 1 oz. of #6 in a modified barrel for my first shot over a pointer. I am very happy with the performance and will continue using it.

My experience parallels Jerry's. It is on tuff sneaky Iowa roosters in tough cover and weather. Inside 30 yards they are fine. I'm sure they'll crush equally wild Kansas birds if you do your part. Polywads are a great product.
