Default Metal Smith

Hi all,

Who could the forum recommend to so some repairing on a top rib. I have an LC that one of the former owners stamped their initials into with metal stamps. I assume they can be micro-welded and file cut to match the original pattern.

Thanks,
John,

I recommend Brad Bachelder from experience of him doing similar work for me.

It's very likely that the heat necessary to fill in the "name" will also be enough to loosen the rib solder. Thus, it will probably have to be removed, welded, then refitted.

For this, Kirk Merrington is excellent. Check his site at merringtongun.com
