Some cell pics taken at practice today ….. a 32” Sterly and one of my pets, a CE Fox named “Matilda” (first time she's on this forum). She has her 30" #2 barrel in these pics. An Ansley era (1909) gun that's only one number off another CE that's tied to a noted period shooter and is now owned by a friend. Matilda has a distinguished past too. Maybe some day we'll get together to do a story on the two guns. I shot the 32 Sterly two weeks ago to check her out, first time, and did well. I just had to try her again even though she's slated for a new owner later this week. Only missed 4 of 38 tournament targets before switching to Matilda. Ha, maybe I should rethink that sale.

The Growler and I had a good day on the course yesterday. I'm afraid the Parker BHE live bird gun may be relegated to back up status.

Checked the weather forecast, and looks pretty nice for Hausmann's. Temps cooling off from recent 90's highs. Does anyone know if this area is being hit by the 17 year locusts? We are in the midst of them, and they are deafening and are literally everywhere by the thousands,
