Default Model 21 Skeet

I already made a thread on this one but I figured with the amazing news I figured I would start another one. When I purchased this gun I was sure that the stock was a replacement, it was just to weird for a factory stock(see pictures). Today I received the research letter from the Cody museum which I will attach. Amazingly the letter describes the stock exactly I am stunned. It also is lettered as a skeet model which I assumed even though it is not labeled on the bottom of the frame. It highlights the importance of research letters.
On a smaller note Mr. Bacheldor was correct after measuring my chokes again this time not late at night they open up to .745'' exactly using my bore gauge.

Nice gun. I have a 20 gauge, 2 bbl set which letters as a skeet grade gun, but it also is lacking the "Skeet" stamp on the floorplate

We had a 21 16 gauge skeet in the shop for repairs about 6-8 months ago . It was plain Jane with a PG and somewhat smaller BT . That gun really felt good to me . I asked the owner when he came to pick it up if he'd like to part with it and he declined . That thing woulda made a great dove gun
