Not in the serialization book
What say you experts?
What do you think it's worth?
What do you think it'll go for?

It doesn't need to be in the Serialization book to convince me. It's the real deal IMO.

If you hold on the picture of the forend and move to the rear of the checkering, it just might be the angle

A plug can be seen inside of the butt checkering. Wonder if it has the hickory(?) strengthening rod or perhaps just plugged for balance?

The size of the plug is considerably larger in diameter than a reinforcing rod and appears to have been bored or filled at the factory for balance.
