Default Ithaca Lewis 20 Gauge

Was in my local gun shop today browsing what few used SXS they had and spotted a Ithaca Lewis 20 gauge. 26" beautiful Damascus barrels, looked uncut.. Advertised "DO NOT SHOOT" as all the Damascus guns there are, safety inoperable.. Overall looked pretty nice, they want $700. Anyone have any experience with one of these?

Default Ithaca Lewis

A friend of mine has several Ithaca Lewis 12s. He likes them a lot.

I would have a hard time walking away from that. That repair can be repaired if it bothers you.

Is it in original condition or has it been refinished?

Here is a page from Dewey Vicknair's web log. He repaired a stock that had been 'repaired' in the past. It can be done. Good Luck!
