10 miles that will make the old lower back... looks like a grand time. Charlie's dog get better?

Major made a full recovery and is in good shape. Blood on a big white dog looks bad.

90 degrees today so done by 1pm. Another 12 coveys. Then Dairy Queen.

The dogs are tapped out after five days of hard hunting. We had six dogs, we could have used ten.

Quail country.

Dog tired. We walked a little over 10 miles on our high day, the dogs ran several times that.

It's hard, no-frills country but I love it out there. The trees don't provide much shade though.

We have groves of those skinny white trees. The power is transferred east .

Several years ago when proposals were being made to place wind turbines on Nantucket Island, locals protested that the view would be ruined and urged that wind turbines be placed in the central US because " no one lives out there".
