Default 2019 PEOPLES CHOICE AWARDS

As in the past the Peoples Choice Awards will be held in conjunction with the 2019 PGCA Annual
Meeting which has been scheduled for Saturday September 21st at Traditions At The Glen Country Club.
Details of this event have been previously posted.
The theme this year will be “TARGET GUNS” which can be single or double barrel guns. There will be
no list of criteria or a definition of target gun that must be met to qualify. If the owner believes the gun
to possess certain characteristics that would qualify it as such then so be it. Attendees will be voting on
“target guns” so it would seem to make sense that the closer the gun fits the theme the better your
chances.
There will be no limit as to the number of guns a Member may display so feel free to bring more than
one. I am going to prepare a tag for each gun that will contain the following:
 *Owners Name
 *Model
 *Gauge
 *Year of Manufacture
 *One line for any bullet point you may want to add such as “1 of 10” or “Owned by Babe Ruth”.
Not a paragraph, just a few words please.
 * # for voting purposes
In order to enter your gun please email (Contact info below) the above information to me. I will
prepare the display cards and have them available at the dinner. Doors open at 5:00 so I will be there
prior to that time. I would like to have all entries on or before 09/15/2019 please. As of right now it
appears we have ample space to work with so there is no limit on entries. Please bring any items that
you would like to add to your display to enhance it.
Attendees will have the opportunity to vote for The Peoples Choice Awards with awards being given to
the top 3 vote getters. While I have not seen the awards I have been told of them and they sound real
nice. I am looking forward to seeing a good number of really nice guns this year and making this a
success for all. Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions.

Default Peoples Choice Reminder

Hello All. Just a friendly reminder for those of you with guns to display if you could provide the information below so the tags can be prepared in advance it would be most appreciated. I do realize we are a ways out but things seem to have a way of sneaking up on us.

*Owners Name
 *Model
 *Gauge
 *Year of Manufacture
 *One line for any bullet point you may want to add such as “1 of 10” or “Owned by Babe Ruth”. Not a paragraph, just a few words please.

Sincerely:

What do you mean by # for voting purposes? Wouldn't you assign a number after we give you the info?

Chuck that was an error on my end. That should not have been included when I copied and pasted. I have corrected the original post. You are correct in that I will assign a # for voting purposes. Thanks !!

Default Name Cards

Hello everyone. Name cards are now in production for the soon to be highly contested Peoples Choice Awards. Our esteemed Parker Pages Editor and Researcher being on their respective "A" games have submitted their selections. Please consider doing so early so you can have your very own customized name card. Otherwise I will have to make it with a Sharpie at the last minute.

Default 30 Days

Morning Folks, at least it's still in the AM here. As you are aware we are now just 30 days out from the banquet. I know we are all busy with life in general not to mention food plots, deer stands, shooting, bird dogs, and the list goes on and on. I urge you to get your information to me for your entries please. All that is required is the following:
 *Model
 *Gauge
 *Year of Manufacture
 *One line for any bullet point you may want to add such as “1 of 10” or “Owned by Babe Ruth”. Not a paragraph, just a few words please.

Thanks for your assistance !

Hello Everyone ! The clock is ticking as I will be leaving for the VC in less than 2 weeks. Please consider getting the information as previously noted for entries to me so that your name card can be prepared in advance.
