Default My experience with getting Damascus barrels refinished

Hi Patrick,
If you want to pm your phone number to me, I will tell you about my miserable experience, so that maybe you suffer the same fate.

Brian,
If you want to pm your phone number to me, I'll be happy to discuss details of my experience, but will not publicly. I will say that it was NOT Aaron Zimmeran.

I am going to revise my previous thoughts on Zimmerman and advise anyone to avoid at all costs.

Bad news!

Shared your thoughts with the boys in Bloomfield. I personally will make no further attempt to contact Aaron Zimmerman. I will seek more info when I see you later this year. For members who require brown Damascus barrels there is a gunsmith in Colorado who provides that service. Trying to recommend someone who can refinish barrels in 3 months or less exceeds the knowledge I have.

I’ll second that ! He’s redone a set of DH barrels for me and fixed a rib situation on a Grade 0 4 frame . And granted I may have caught him
at a time when he had no backlog , but he had both barrels in and out to me in less then three weeks I think .
