I assume this is the gun you ordered from the Colt custom shop. It was worth the wait. Gorgeous gun!

A wait a little over two years and now the waiting list is even closed. They had not made floral carved ivory grips in over 20 years, and ivory is becoming scarce. Thanks to Colt expert R L Wilson, Steve Fjestad ( Blue Book) and Brent Turchi ( Colt executive) for steering me through this., and Colt's master engraver Jan Gwinnell who went beyond the norm. It exceeded expectations. This may be one of the last true Colt engraved custom works for the foreseeable future.

Bruce, I have a CSMC Model21 that was engraved by Bryson Gwinnell. He engraved for the US Mint, Colt, Winchester and CSMC that I am aware of. I wonder if Bryson and Jan are related?

Hello Buddy. Bryson and Jan Gwinnell are brothers and are presently in house master engravers at Colt's. Both are highly regarded and you are fortunate to have a fine Model 21 engraved by Bryson. I'd love to see photos.

Bruce, I have some pictures somewhere on this computer. I'll try to find them and send them to you. If I can't find them I'll take some more. It might take me a little while. That's a great looking six shooter you've got there!

Nice Peacemaker. Gen'l G.S.P. would approve (if it was his).

Bruce, I tried to email some pictures to you at bday@daylaw.us. I received a notice they could not be delivered. If this is the wrong address email me at bmarson@verizon.net and I'll send them again.
