Default Chrome lined bores...(-:

I just realized how mutch I like the repro's chrome lined bores...One or two passes with a bronze brush then nylon brush w/hopes and a final pass with oiled mop...bores are spic-N-span! Its takes about 2-3 times more work on my original parker bores to get the plastic out. One more reason to love them repro's...(-: If I get out of duty this morning...I will take my little repro 410 out and kill some sporting birds! I will skip the long shots that give me trouble with my 20ga. thanks all Kenny Graft SXS ohio

Kenny, is there any news about the new .410 barrels from Tony? His website claims delivery in September. I can't wait to try a set on my double trigger 28 gauge. His will be 28" barrels, two inches longer than the original Repro .410 barrels.

I agree with you Kenny the original repro barrels are excellent. I've said this before but maybe its worth saying again... I sure hope those new Galazan barrels fit better than the 16s I bought and paid to have fitted a while back. They are pathetic. They are so bad that I'm concerned I'm damaging my gun when I try to use them.

Two repro barrel questions:

1) I recently acquired another 12ga repro, chokes are .011 and .036. Does that sound right (unmessed with) for mod & full?

2) Any thoughts on who might be able to make my Galazan barrels work properly? Galazan told me not to worry they would "wear in." What a joke.

Default Repro's

I have not checked with Lou at galazan about any replacement barrels being shiped as yet...The chokes on my M/F 12 repro are .010/.035 , the 26" ic/m are .006/.009 Send the Gun & 16 barrel set back to LOU...ask him to make it right. Im betting he will. thanks Kenny SXS ohio

Thanks for the choke info guys, the new 12ga repro I got looks perfect.

Kenny Re: Poorly fitting Galazan barrels. I have talked to Lou he was no help at all. He said they fit them as best they could and that they would wear in over time, no use sending them back - very insulting. I would really like to find a qualified gunsmith who could make them lock up properly (the badly fitting dolls head I'll just live with).
