Polywad makes some very fine light loads for vintage guns as well. I have used them for years and never had a disappointing experience.

Jen, shoot the lightest load you feel confident with, as long as it is a light load.
1 oz of 8's at the mid 1100 fps range should do it. Try 7/8 oz at 16 yds.

Hello all,

Just wanted to give an update to those who were kind enough to post on my thread - I finally had the opportunity to enjoy my SBT.

What an enjoyable experience, I used a light Winchester load and had a great time. Need more practice to get the sight alignment down, I seemed to be a tich low on some of the birds - but as with anything with more practice it should improve.
