To get a crimp to suit me with 1 1/8 ounces I used three 1/8" 16 gauge spacers so I would assume for 1 ounce you'd need atleast 4 .

I load a 2 5/8 shell so it doesn't take as many spacers. I believe it's one 1/2".

I shot 4 rounds of skeet Friday morning three with my GH 16 and one round with my EH 3 frame 10 shooting the 19 gr Red Dot with 1 1/8 shot and I can honestly say the two I missed with the 10 gauge were no fault of the gun even though it's choked full and fuller yet . And the same can be said for the load it's fault free . Regardless of the load when you stop the swing ya misses the bird just read "skeet shooting 101" . After shooting that big heavy gun the first round with that pudding load my 16 gauge shooting ounce loads actually jumped a bit more . Dropped two with the 10 and 4 with the 16 for a 94 . Twenty years ago I'd have been livid for shooting that poorly now what the heck it's for fun

When I shot the round of skeet Friday morning with the 10 two of the old geezers I was shooting with made reference to all the stuff coming from the end of the gun when I smacked the trigger

But I most certainly like that load . Seems about right for 10 gauge skeet , trap and dove . Couple of the fellows here that shoot Red Dot told me use it during warm weather as they had encountered some small problems when it was cold .
