Default Delta Dawn

Remember the song Delta Dawn, whats that faded rose you have on, well here is what you might call a faded rose, joined in a faded case, The guns are old and they are low grade but shoot as good as any A grade, found this old Purdey case in a corner down stairs and they fit perfectly, guess I need to send it up to Kevin M. "Old Guns Old Case" and they are consecutively serial numbered, one with checking, one without, made and shipped about a month apart. Guess Im just getting older but damn I do like old guns and cases, Gary

Gary, you have phenomenal luck in finding all these wonderful Parkers. What a nice pair those two are... and that case sets them off elegantly.

Dean, Luck is part of it to be sure, but I spend couple hours a day looking for unusual and odd stuff, all the while comparing serial numbers to guns that I have, and sometimes they match, I sure wish I could put that walnut case back with its original gun, I probably need Bill Murphy to look for it he also seems to be able to put Parker things together, Gary

Gary What is the serial #range of your guns (not exact #'s) but the range. I have an 1880 O grade that I am going to restock and it looks similar to your pair. Jim Garrett

I wonder if the one that is checkered was originally uncheckered?
