Default Great Northern SxS shoot.

The website has been updated and applications are arriving daily . It may be snowing in Wisconsin today but June is the best time of the year for breaking clays. come be part of the midwest greatest SxS celebration !

Mark, Rich A. and I will be there, and again we are not going to make Ernie's shot due to how close they are. We would be getting back from Ernie's only to turn around the next day and head to Wisc. so we had to pick one shoot and it was Medford as we burn a lot more powder there and the people are great. Now are they doing the pigeon ring, as if the rumors are true and they discontinue it that's a serious mistake as I know some shooters that come for that event as the Great Northern is the only major shoot with one ! And please do try and tell me the Super pigeon is the same, it's a glorified 5 stand nothing else
With that said it is one of the best shoots that we go to.

Eric, Glad you and Rich will be in attendance. To answer your question, Yes and no. The pigeon ring will not be part of the main event this year , I will be sponsoring it as a side event on Thursday. We like to try different things to see how they work and keep thing fresh. Look for details and more announcements in the coming weeks.

Thanks for your input.

Glad to hear you are sponsoring it, so it's not totally gone but I think it is not a good idea to take it out of the shoot. IMHO

This is a great shoot and one of my favorites as it's right up there with shooting at Drakes Landing. I'm glad to hear the ring will at least be a side event (I hate to see that 32 inch barreled Fox left home) but agree it would be nice to have it back in the mainstream.
