Default Bugged

I have a nice old Parker that has an issue that bugs me. There is a tiny sliver of wood missing by the trigger guard. It is about 1/2 inch long and 1/16 wide. Any suggestions what to use to fill this with that would stick? Thanks.

A professional repair with wood is the only proper repair.

And you won't even be able to tell it was repaired...

Didn't Brian D just complete a class in repairs of this sort?
