Default Introduction

Hello everyone, my name is Michael. My auntie was clearing her late-father's attic and came across a Parker shotgun. She said I could have it. I was wondering if it's worth refurbishing it or if it's even worth anything. The shotgun is fairly in bad shape but it could be nice to identify it and see what can be done.

It appears to be made in 1886 per collector information on the website.

Regards,

M

Hello Michael - Welcome!

Your inherited shotgun is not a Parker Bros. shotgun made in Meriden CT which is what our organization identifies with.

Yours is a cheaply made imported gun attempting to capitalize on the coveted Parker name.

Except for the fact that it is a family heirloom it isn’t worth the expense to refurbish it.

And we don’t recommend attempting to shoot it.
