Default Watertable markings

Hi...I am reletivly new to the Parker world. Was looking at a nice 12g Trojan with good color and was wondering what some of the stamps were for or what I should look for. In particular there is a CVR stamp next to the Barrel weight stamp(which is 4) What does that mean.

thanks in advance for your help.

Hi James and welcome to the PGCA forum.

Look very closely - use a magnifying glass and see if the stamp on the water table might not be <OV> which would be the correct stamp for the Parker Trojan. Post some pictures here for us to see.

Good job James.

I must apologize to James. Twice I accused him of misreading the stamp shown here on the barrel flats - once in this thread and once in a PM earlier this evening.
I have never seen the stamp shown and at this point I won't speculate what it might mean. Until I saw the stamp above, I had presumed it was the OV mark indicating Trojan but now after seeing it I am at a loss.
