Nice work J.J.

Is there a story to that motif?

I knew that about Canadas and suspected the story went something like that.

I came upon a cow moose in Vt that was moaning and calling and running the edge of a big section of woods. I had seen her and her calf a couple of days earlier but the calf had been killed by coyotes since the first time I saw them. She was near frantic in calling for her calf.
Pretty sad...

JJ, I didn't see the sadness the first time I saw the etching. Thank you for the story behind the etching. See you on Friday, I hope. Linda and I are mourning the death of her oldest son, Bill, service to be held in New Market, Virginia this Saturday. Your etching is a calming influence on Linda and me. You always seem to do the right thing. Your good friend, Murphy
