Default Food for thought: postimage.org

Hi All, I frequently use classicflyrodforum.com and their method of posting images seems a lot more convenient than what we use here.. Anyone else feel this way? Is it something we could explore?

I think our site is extremely easy to post pictures if you take the time to read the FAQ's found on our home page. Last link at the bottom of the page.

the classic rod board only recently changed to the new method after the photobucket policy changes, its fairly convenient

but uploading a picture to an album here is a cinch- once that is done - its easy to copy the location and use the image button in the posting window to include it in your message

You don't necessairy have to post to an album and copy to a post, do it directly to the post using 'manage attachments. You can upload 5 at a time if you want to.

I find our site extremely easy to use since I don't use a third party or cloud to store my photos, I have them on my computer so it's very easy to post on our forum. Now Doublegun I still haven't figured out and that is probably because my photos are stored on my computer.

Let's face it if Rich (COB) can post photos.....well that should show how easy it is..........

If we made it easier to post photos then maybe Bill would post photos of his guns. He says it’s too complicated now.

There is a thought Bruce.

I am not familiar with the forum that John is speaking of, but i think the pricess we have here would be difficult to improve on by much. If you can handle attaching files to an email, you can get your photos up on this site.

I dont disagree that our current platform is not hard.. but that being said if you take a look at the classicflyrodforum you can basically drag an image from your desktop right into a post. It is very convenient. I didn't mean to step on anyones toes with this post, I was just simply offering a suggestion that I thought might be appreciated.
