Default Market on a 28g 2bbl

What's your guess on the market value of a 2bbl, sst, straight stocked, btfe, 28g, unfired.

In it's original case and depending upon the quality of the wood, I'd guess $5000 to $5500. If this were 2008 I would have guessed about a grand more.

Or about $1000 more if it had double triggers. I would buy such a gun as you describe if you like it at any reasonable price. The market is coming back and beavertail straight grip guns in 28 gauge will be on top of the market, as always. Don't wait for a double trigger gun. They won't be out there.

By the way, where is this gun? Don't worry, we won't mess with it.

Interestingly, I see no 28ga 2 bbl sets for $5k. There's 92 Repro's on GI, I'll review them again.

Although I bought my 28g/28", SST, straight stocked, splinter for $4k a couple years ago, I can't find another 28ga in either bbl length for $4k. The market may be on the rise, at least for 28ga Repros.

I bought a 28" 28 ga last week on gunbroker. It has double triggers and a pistol grip stock. I was the only bidder at $3995. The gun appears to be unfired until yesterday.

Nice buy. Very nice. 28" bbls on a single bbl 28ga seem to be a rarity. I hadn't seen another since I bought mine a couple yrs ago. And the double triggers on yours are now highly sought after. I'm sure Tom Skeuse would be scratching his head over that.

I got very lucky with the gun I found a couple yrs ago. It has nice grain orientation in the wrist and a great feather in the butt.

A friend bought a near mint 28-ga. DHE Repro last week. 28" M/F, SG, SPL and DT's, paid $4500 and thought he made a good buy.
