Default Finally shot my 28…..

I was able to shoot my 28 for the first time yesterday and I now have a question.
How did I get this far in life without having a 28?

It was a lot of fun and I believe my 12’s will see less use as a result. I see now why so many members have high regards for the repro 28’s.

Dean, it took forever to find some ammo. I was able to pick some up at Hausman’s from RST.

It's interesting, the only shotgun ammo on the shelves at WalMart are 28s.

Congratulations on joining the 28 club (where all the members are good looking and of above average intelligence).

The mighty 28. The little gun that could.
Once you’ve been bitten. Well you know the rest of the story.

Don, I sold off all my 12's in favor of Parker 20's and have never looked back. I did keep one 16 though that I had DelGrego's restore some years back.
And I love my Beretta 28 O/U!!

Why is it that you cannot be satisfied with just one 28. They seems to multiply with no real rational.

My first passion if you will is definitely not with the dainty little 28, I prefer the heavier target guns. Having said that I will freely admit that the 28 has a certain mystique about it that cannot be denied. I shot a new to me 28 at the last Rock Mountain gathering and it was quite a treat. A very enjoyable gauge to shoot for sure. Have fun with yours Don.

I know... I've sold a few and still have a few and still want more. A well cared for AH or AHE with a straight grip and 28" Damascus barrels would be nice.
