Default 2014 Northeast Classic and Fox/Parker Challange

For those that could not attend the event at Haussmann’s Hidden Hollow this past weekend you missed a great time. The weather was spectacular all weekend and the shooting and vendors could not have been better. I would like to congratulate the Fox Team for once again rising to the occasion and shooting great when it counted. I would also like to thank Dave Suponski and Steve Cambria for organizing this fine event. There were a lot of changes this year and with that came some confusion that unfortunately prevented some shooters from turning in their cards. This will be corrected for next year and we hope the results will favor team Parker.

Rick,
you were missed. Hope you can make it next year, and yeah, guess we screwed up not turning in our scores, heck, we generally didnt even keep score.

I've put a few photos in the earlier Event thread.

A note for anyone thinking of renting a cart next time: While settling my tab at the end I asked Bernie at the registration desk if she would like to know about a mechanical issue that our cart developed. She said, "No, we don't really care because this is the last time we will be having carts... they're too much trouble and we lose money on them."

Hausmanns and drakes are my two favorite places to shoot. I didn't turn in my card as who would have thought a lowly 31 would have made the team, but then again I am a non committed annual member

Lots of nice guns to admire and droll over to say the least, so many guns so little cash

now I have to load shells for the shoot this weekend in Wisconsin what to take , what to take????

I want to tell everyone that Team Parker had the Fox's worried a bit after Team Parker shot first. They shot 6 shots per station for a team total of 30 shots. With the trap machine constantly rotating, it was kind of the luck of the draw what your report pair of targets were to be. Luckily we had 3 refs calling hits and misses because some of the targets were long range and black side facing you which made them hard to see. Our team shot very well but the Fox guys just a little bit better. It averaged out to just 2 shots per person difference.
