But that's not the end of the 'youth initiative' of the PGCA. I look forward to future youth programs and sponsorships. I'll do my part to keep it going even more strongly as it gains momentum.

True enough . As well, when I return home, Mary and I will be discussing what the next steps will be in the youth program. Mary has some brilliant ideas as well - so we'll post up what the next steps are....
My best to all - and thanks to all who have participated so far...! John |

PGCA paid qualifying rounds for juniors at the L.C.Smith versus Parker Shoot at the Southern Side by Side might be a good gesture. It may cause some juniors to shoot who otherwise would not. Maybe we could throw in a free practice round too. If it were mentioned in the final program, maybe a member or two would bring their kids to the Southern who normally would not. Membership should not be required if the parent is a member.

Good suggestions Bill.
I think some more suggestions from the membership would really help to get this youth initiative off to a very good start. The BOD and staff are coming up with good ideas but can't think of everything. |

Our Maryland State Skeet Association offers free five gun junior entry to our annual state NSSA shoot. It is underadvertised, but a good idea anyhow.
