Default Nice Grade 2 Laminated Lifter

Just got this home. A real nice 12 gauge Lifter with 29 7/8" Laminated Steel Barrels(that may be one that was rounded to 30"). Serial# 23,102. It's a heavy gun, barrel weight is 4-14. One of the nicer(if not nicest) guns for me so far.

Look at the Parker Bros. label on the rib. It looks like the engraving/writing usually done on higher grades with Bernard barrels, is that right?

Parker research letter is ordered and I am looking forward to getting to know this one a little better.

Jay

That is a great gun! I don't enjoy being a pain, but could you get some better pictures of the engraving. Maybe outside in the bright shade. Is there a flower on the rib? Enjoy.

Please show the barrel flats - I'll bet there is a P where the barrel steel is stamped.
That is one of the best matched pair of tubes I have ever seen on a Parker with that particular Laminated pattern.

Very few Grade 2 Parkers were made with those Laminated Steel barrels with a total of 210 made and only 91 with 30" in 12 gauge.

I rushed to post these last night and I have struggling with the lighting/pictures. Dean your right about the barrel flats. There are a few condition issues I'll seek some guidance on latter. Here are some more pictures...

Very nice lifter. Hope the inside of the barrels look as good as the outside.
